Data we collect
- Enquiry data: name, email, optional review type, device descriptions you choose to share, and message content submitted via the contact form or email.
- Scheduling data: preferred dates and phone numbers you provide to arrange sessions.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) and cookies as described in our cookies policy.

Purposes
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, schedule and deliver review sessions, send service-related messages, improve site reliability, and meet legal obligations.
Legal bases
Where applicable under Korean privacy law and, for relevant visitors, comparable frameworks: performance of pre-contractual steps or contracts; legitimate interests in operating a secure professional practice; and consent where you accept optional analytics cookies.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months after the last correspondence unless a longer period is required for accounting, dispute handling, or law. Session notes that contain personal details are retained only as needed for the engagement and then destroyed or returned according to the written confirmation. Server logs are rotated on a shorter cycle.
Processors and transfers
Hosting and email providers may process data on our behalf under confidentiality terms. If data is transferred outside Korea, we use appropriate safeguards such as contractual clauses and carefully selected vendors.
Your rights
Subject to Korean law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Contact us at contact@cognitisec.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC) or another competent authority.
Security
We apply access controls, limit staff who see enquiry content, and avoid storing wallet secrets. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; use discretion in what you write.
Children
Services are directed at adults capable of managing financial assets. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
